In order to have a complete and full insight into all facets of wastewater treatment we also have a dedicated operations team who are on location at several treatment plants in New Zealand. We consider this first-hand involvement crucial as it builds our knowledge and experience of practical issues and enhances our ability to more effectively implement improvements and remedy problems.

Most of our international waste to energy facilities are staffed by local operators trained by us. It is a further testament to the reliability and the built-in level of automation, particularly for our Cigar® systems, that we are confident in delegating responsibilities to local operators. We do recommend that we are involved in the remote monitoring of the facility whenever possible. This is a risk management measure ensuring the early identification of potential problems.
