Waste

Municipal sewage plants treat effluent to remove contaminants which can be harmful to our environment. The effluent stream is treated in a sequence of processes specifically designed according to the characteristics of the waste.

With our laboratory capabilities we have the expertise to rigorously analyse any waste and to develop customised solutions. Sometimes, as in the case of Bells Island in Nelson, New Zealand (a Waste Solutions operated facility since 2001), complex mixtures of effluent mixed with industrial waste significantly increases the range of treatment options and as a matter of course we will assess a variety of value adding and innovative alternatives prior to development.
